IWB Anti-scratch lined Holster

A refined variant of our versatile, general-purpose IWB holster, now with a soft felt lining. This model features a felt interior to help protect your handgun from scratches, while maintaining all the core benefits of our original IWB holster. It comes standard with a Discreet Carry Concepts-style stainless steel clip and includes a concealment claw for enhanced stability and reduced printing. You can buy the holster here.

Summary of features:

Adjustable cant

The holster is equipped with four mounting holes for the retention clip, allowing for multiple positioning options. By attaching the clip symmetrically to either the top or bottom pair of holes, users can choose between two ride heights. Alternatively, using an asymmetrical setup, one top hole and one bottom, introduces a forward cant. This angled configuration can improve comfort and accessibility, particularly for appendix carry, and is especially beneficial at the 3 or 4 o’clock positions, where a slight tilt often results in a more natural and comfortable draw.

How to wear it

This holster is specifically designed for inside-the-waistband (IWB) carry, meaning it is intended to be worn inside the pants for deep concealment. It relies on the pressure of the belt and waistband to stay securely in place. Attempting to wear it outside the waistband (OWB) can result in poor retention and instability. Additionally, the holster’s orientation is specific to handedness, using a right-handed IWB holster on the outside of the waistband effectively reverses the draw angle, making it functionally left-handed and unsuitable for proper use.

Soft lining made of felt

The interior of the holster features a soft felt lining in the area where the slide of the handgun rests. This added layer helps minimize wear and surface scratches that can occur during repeated holstering and drawing. While maintaining the structure and retention of a traditional Kydex holster, the felt lining provides an extra measure of protection for your firearm’s finish, which is especially important for users who carry regularly and want to preserve the condition of their handgun.
