Wenge Tanto

A handcrafted tanto knife. The blade is handforged and hand-polished out of an old file. Some forging marks as well as file teeth are retained. Blade was clay-tempered, which means that a hamon was created. The handle is made of Wenge wood with a brass guard and copper habaki. The construction is not takedown, which means this handle cannot be disassembled by removing the peg. Saya is made of Amazaque wood. Comes with a display stand.
